HAPPY BIRTHDAY RAIN!

A big happy birthday to my missus! She is 31 today and she looks incredible! I dread to think what I'll look like by the time I'm 31. Boy oh boy.

Anyways, nobody reads this bloody thing anyway, but I am very proud of her and this is going to be a wonderful year in her life :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY!

Paparazzi In Training

Whilst out for a bit of lunch Ms. Williams had a promotional gig with Am. Express. Let me see if I can find that butt shot.

2 Mile Run

Ok, so I successfully ran 2 miles on the treadmill at the gym. Not a long distance by any means, but I am more than happy because the broken foot still feels ok. Sore, but ok. The goal for the rest of this year is to drop 10 lbs (to 185lbs), lose the fat and reach the 4 mile run mark. This is just over 5k. I ran the 2 mile distance in 17 minutes 15 seconds which isn't too bad, but that was my limit.

I need to cut out coffee w/ half & half which I drink 4 times a day, all alcohol (which there isn't much of these days anyway!).

My dream is be ready for the 2007 NY marathon. We will see. If I can hit the 4-5 mile mark by Christmas then I will be eligible to run with the New York Road Runners Association next year. 9 races with those guys and I will be eligible for the 2007 marathon.

I'm a lazy bastard though so I need to get my arse in to gear!

Friday Night, Saturday Morning

I am so happy these days are long behind me. I shudder at the thought of how many times I went through this back in blighty. Some decent times, but all in all a complete mess.

The Specials - Friday Night, Saturday Morning

Out of bed at eight am
Out my head by half past ten
Out with mates and dates and friends
That's what I do at weekends
I can't talk and I can't walk
But I know where I'm going to go
I'm going watch my money go
At the Locarno, no

When my feet go through the door
I know what my right arm is for
Buy a drink and pull a chair
Up to the edge of the dance floor
Bouncers bouncing through the night
Trying to stop or start a fight
I sit and watch the flashing lights
Moving legs in footless tights

I go out on Friday night and I come home on Saturday morning
I go out on Friday night and I come home on Saturday morning

I like to venture into town
I like to get a few drinks down
The floor gets packed the bar gets full
I don't like life when things get dull
The hen party have saved the night
And freed themselves from drunken stags
Having fun and dancing in
A circle round their leather bags

I go out on Friday night and I come home on Saturday morning
I go out on Friday night and I come home on Saturday morning

But two o'clock has come again
It's time to leave this paradise
Hope the chip shop isn't closed
Cos' their pies are really nice
I'll eat in the taxi queue
Standing in someone else's spew
Wish I had lipstick on my shirt
Instead of piss stains on my shoes

I go out on Friday night and I come home on Saturday morning
I go out on Friday night and I come home on Saturday morning
I go out on Friday night and I come home on Saturday morning
I go out on Friday night and I come home on Saturday morning

Come on England!

We need your support

See, you all thought we didn't have cheerleaders in the UK. Well, we do and we need a lot more. The 2006 World Cup is around the corner, who can forget the drama of 2002 eh? (We were in Jamaica on our honeymoon! ;)

2006 is the big one though. It will mark the 40 year point since England last won the World Cup and I (with the missus) have made a person pledge to fly to London and spend a week on the sauce if we do it again!

Weather

This heat is really getting on my t**s. Know what I mean? I'll say one thing for London, at least you can go and have a beer down by the river when the sun is giving you grief. The East River doesn't really afford the same luxury eh.

Good News!

My colleague's wife has just given birth to a baby girl. I just spoke to him on the phone and he is obviously delighted.
